#33 How I Find Places to Take Photos

Never take the same path home. You will miss seeing many things once. Always take the same path home. You will miss many things if you only see it once.

These words are the culmination of my artistic experience.

More than ever, I’ve felt chained to my daily routine when my soul desires adventure. But in this consistency, I’ve been learning how to see all things new at work:

And other places I frequently see:

While finding new adventures in the spaces between these destinations:

Driving home without using the freeway, turning before your street and coming to your house from another direction, walking up and down the next couple streets near your house (I bet you haven’t even seen most of those houses), stop and closely examine landmarks that you usually drive past. Walk in a direction you don’t usually go for five minutes and see what you discover, heck, walk the route you take to the store/ gas station/ freeway/ etc. (I bet it looks completely different than usual!)

This is one of my secrets to boosting my creativity, appreciation of beauty, level of inspiration, etc.. MOST of my pictures are taken during my day to day experience. A world of wonder lies all around you at every second. Do not neglect it!
